Keynote Session with Nancy Abdou and Brittnay Mcdermott— Advancements in Electrology

Session 4 of the 2026 ABIC Electrology Education Zoom Series

Following the overwhelming success of our previous sessions, we are delighted to continue the 2026 ABIC Electrology Education Zoom Series with a presentation focused on the innovations shaping the future of professional electrolysis practice.

Electrolysis is far more than permanent hair removal. It is a clinical treatment that relies on precision, consistency, sound judgement and adherence to best practice standards. As technology and technique continue to evolve, staying current with the latest advancements is essential to delivering safe, effective and ethical electrolysis at the highest level.

This session brings those advancements into focus.

We are proud to welcome Nancy Abdou, founder of The Australian Dermal & Laser Institute (TADLI) and Australian distributor for Apilus Electrolysis devices, co-hosting alongside Brittnay McDermott, Dectro-certified Electrolysis Educator and long-standing member of TADLI's education and clinical support team, for an in-depth exploration of Advancements in Electrology. Drawing on decades of combined clinical, training and technical writing experience, Nancy and Brittnay will share the latest developments, device innovations and evidence-based insights shaping modern electrolysis practice.

Whether you are refining your technique, exploring new technology or looking to benchmark your practice against industry-leading standards, this webinar will provide practical knowledge you can apply immediately in the treatment room.
