About Asha Dakin

Asha Dakin has always aspired to become a nurse and pursue a career as a cosmetic nurse injector. Her journey began with the pursuit of a diploma in beauty immediately after high school. In the subsequent year, she furthered her education by successfully completing a diploma in nursing, which led her to become an Enrolled Endorsed Nurse (EEN) 

During her post-graduate year, she approached Nurse Jodie, seeking a position within her clinic. Nurse Jodie graciously accepted her, offering a dual role as a beauty therapist with the opportunity to train as a cosmetic nurse injector as time progressed. She considers herself very fortunate, as 6 months into her tenure with Nurse Jodie , regulations evolved to permit Enrolled Nurses to practice as cosmetic injectors, enabling her to undergo comprehensive aesthetic training at Nurse Jodie’s clinic. 

Over the past 2 years, she has immersed herself in her role, displaying an insatiable thirst for knowledge. Her dedication is evident through her engagement in various educational avenues, including podcasts, online tutorials, industry conferences and seminars and a completion of online Galderma training whilst also closely observing and shadowing Nurse Jodie. 

She has also honed her skills in advanced medical grade skin treatments, utilising cutting-edge technologies such as the Nordlys™ and Matrix™ devices. Dr. Tiina Meder began her career as a cardiologist before transitioning into the field of dermatology, which she considers the most complex area of medicine due to its numerous diagnostic possibilities related to human skin. About Dr Donna Lee Marçal

Donna, originally from Canada, is a specialist doctor in human Biochemistry from The University of Ottawa. Dr Donna Marçal is specialised in inflammation and how the body reacts to foreign materials. Her work has been published in numerous highly respected biomedical industry journals around the world. She has been awarded several international research fellowships for her work including The Prime Minister’s Science Award from Australia, which facilitated her to continue the award-winning research program here in Australia. 

Her work on specific human proteins and their functions in human inflammation awarded her an Endeavour Research Fellowship from the Australian Government. She has also worked with The Australian Institute of Bioengineering and Nanotechnology (Brisbane, QLD) on high-profile projects.
