It's important to keep in mind that some sectors and requirements may not be applicable based on your specific operations and services.
2. ACCESS ACAP CERTIFICATION PORTAL
To meet certain requirements, you will need to upload evidence through our ACAP Certification Portal via monday.com. Our ABIC Assessor will review it and check it off before your assessment meeting.
Other requirements such as Display, Explain and Link can be completed prior or during your assessment process and some requirements can only be completed during the assessment meeting.
You will receive an ACAP Certification Portal Guide with step-by-step instructions on how to navigate the portal and action items.
3. ACAP CERTIFICATION ASSESSMENT MEETING
The ACAP Certification assessment meeting is where you meet with your ABIC Assessor to go through all the relevant requirements for your business as per the assessment checklist.
Together, we will ensure that you have met all the necessary requirements by providing evidence, displaying information, or verbally explaining. Throughout the process, a mark-off tool will be used by our ABIC Assessor to keep track of your progress.
After reviewing your requirements, our assessment will result in either MR (Meets Requirements) or FER (Further Evidence Required).
Our ACAP Certification team will provide you with the necessary assistance, guidance, and support throughout the process. Our ABIC Facilitators and ABIC Assessor will accompany you every step of the way, equipping you with helpful templates and resources to ensure that you meet all requirements.
We have a comprehensive resource library and a category of resources specifically for Certification that will aid you in your ACAP Assessment. Once you have fulfilled all requirements and achieved an "MR" (Meets Requirements) status, you will have successfully completed your ACAP SafeSkin Registration.
ACAP SafeSkin™ Registration assessment clinic walk-through requirements are conducted online/remotely.
Our ABIC Assessor will evaluate your premises using video conferencing before determining whether you meet the standards.
A device such as a smartphone or tablet is required for this part of the assessment.
Our ABIC Assessor will manage the process and work directly with the authorised ABIC member or nominated person.
We have simplified the process as much as possible. As long as you have all the documentation required in our Checklist, preparing is simply a matter of collating the documents and uploading them to a secure ABIC platform. Depending on the size and type of business, this will vary from business to business. ABIC Facilitators are there to assist you every step of the way, as well as a comprehensive resource library to help you along the way.
