Session 2 of the 2026 ABIC Electrology Education Zoom Series
Following the outstanding response to our inaugural session in June, we are proud to continue the 2026 ABIC Electrology Education Zoom Series with one of the most important topics in our profession.
Infection control is not optional, and it is not a formality. It is the clinical foundation that separates safe electrolysis practice from real risk. Yet for many practitioners, protocols learned during initial training have never been formally reviewed, updated, or benchmarked against current best practice standards.
This session changes that.
We are thrilled to welcome ABIC Endorsed Educator and Dermaskin Academy founder Kelly Dermody for a deep dive into infection control as it should be taught: practically, clinically, and mapped to the highest regulatory standard in Australia.

She is an ABIC Endorsed Educator and serves as a Senior Advisor on both the ABIC Electrology Committee and the ABIC Education Committee, having contributed to the development of the ABIC Best Practice Guidelines for the profession.
Her infection control protocols are mapped to NSW Health standards, which represent the strictest infection control requirements of any Australian state.
